We can take relaxation classes for children in and around the Edinburgh area. These can be carried out at nurseries and primary schools (ideal activity for Health Week) or Rainbows and Brownies etc.

We would be delighted to work in partnership with Schools to help them to introduce the Health and Wellbeing curriculum to their school. The Relax Kids class is an ideal way to introduce children to relaxation and positive thinking and covers the area of mental and emotional wellbeing in the Curriculum for Excellence.

A Relax Kids class is a gentle and fun way of introducing children to the world of relaxation, helping them to build their confidence, self-worth, become aware of and manage their feelings/moods. Through relaxation and self-esteem exercises we encourage children to see their strengths, develop their confidence and positivity as well as show respect to themselves and others. Teaching children simple relaxation techniques is one of the keys to helping them grow up in a balanced and well rounded way.

Relax Kids workshops (age 3 to 8) and Chill Skills workshops (age 9+) normally last 45 minutes and teach children how to relax using simple stretches, breathing exercises, peer/self massage, positive thinking and visualization to finish.
